A Calm Space to be Held, Heard, and Gently Guided Back to Yourself

I know how exhausting it can feel to carry so much on your own, but you don’t have to hold it alone. Whatever you bring to our sessions, and whatever parts of you reveal themselves along the way, will be welcomed with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment.

In my experience, healing is rarely about fixing what’s wrong. More often, it’s about changing your relationship to what’s here - learning to accept, embrace, and eventually love the parts of yourself that may have long been rejected, hidden, or misunderstood.

A Gentle, Holistic Path

My approach is holistic, warm, and person-centred. I tailor each session to meet you where you are — drawing from a range of therapeutic tools to support you in a way that feels grounded and meaningful:

• ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)

• IFS (Internal Family Systems)

• Somatic Experiencing and Hakomi

  • Nervous System Psychoeducation and regulation

• Yogic breathwork, mindfulness & meditation

Together, we create space for calm, clarity, and deeper connection so that you can move forward with trust and self-compassion.

Naomi holds a Bachelor of Communication and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, combining strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centred approach.

How I Can Support You

• Move beyond feeling stuck and step into the life that’s calling you

• Understand and transform the protective strategies that may be keeping you stuck, such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, overachieving, controlling, self-criticism, avoidance, numbing, fixing, or shutting down

• Process and release trauma through a gentle, body-based (somatic) approach

• Become a calmer, less reactive, and more connected parent by learning practical ways to support yourself and regulate your nervous system

• Create supportive systems and strategies for ADHD and mixed-neurotype relationships

• Heal from codependency and unhealthy relationship patterns, and navigate the challenges of breakups, separation, and divorce

• Move through grief and loss with compassion and support

• Explore gender diversity, identity, and transition in a safe and affirming space

My counselling style is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and lived experience. As a mother of two, a long-time yoga teacher, and someone who has walked my own healing path, I bring a trauma-informed perspective, deep compassion, and genuine curiosity to every session.

I am particularly passionate about supporting women who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck to reconnect with themselves, let go of what no longer serves them, and create a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and true to who they are.

How We Can Work Together

There’s no one right way to begin. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, bringing gentle curiosity to whatever arises. Through mindful exploration, conversation, and body awareness, we’ll listen for the wisdom already present within you and allow that to guide our work together.

Sessions are available in the following ways:

• Online worldwide (Zoom) — Comfortable, flexible, and accessible from wherever you are

• In-person (Currumbin, Gold Coast) — Held in a calm, private space for face-to-face connection (contact me to discuss in person availability)

• Walk & Talk (nature-based sessions) — Gently guided counselling while walking together in one of the Gold Coast’s peaceful outdoor locations

Each format offers a spacious, grounding environment to support you in reconnecting with yourself — emotionally, physically, and energetically.

If you’re unsure which format feels right, we can explore it together during your free introductory call, or contact me to discuss.

  • “I felt instantly at ease with Naomi due to her calm and compassionate nature. I learned so much from her in just a few sessions and gained some really simple and practical strategies that I continue to use. The most valuable thing I gained from seeing Naomi was that she didn’t let me stay in my head and intellectualise things – she was incredible at helping me feel safe to drop into my body and work through old thought patterns and difficult emotions in a gentle but powerful way that has had a lasting impact. Naomi is an intuitive, passionate, authentic and highly skilled therapist who I am very grateful to have met.”

  • “From my first session with Naomi, I could feel her sense of calm & warmth. Every session has been exactly what I needed. The way she navigates the sessions, holds the space for me to cry, laugh & share my frustrations has been beautiful & nurturing. She has helped me through trivial matters & the important, deep matters of the heart. I would highly recommend Naomi to any woman or mother looking for a therapist who makes you feel seen & understood and empowered!”

  • "Naomi has been such a source of comfort and support during some very challenging times in my life. Her calm and empathetic nature makes me feel safe to be open and honest with my experiences and emotions. Naomi takes the time to listen, validate and provide practical tools to manage the emotion at hand plus work on the root cause of the symptom. I have learnt and healed so much. I am very grateful for our sessions together and her support."

  • “After a few failed attempts with psychologists I didn’t feel comfortable opening up too, I finally found Naomi when at my worst. I was so scared to take the call but her kindness and understanding instantly shone through and put me at ease. Within minutes I was telling her things I’d never said out loud before and after our first video session, I had to meet her in person. Now I’m happier than I’ve ever been and thought possible. I know I wouldn’t have gotten to this point without her and I might not be here at all. I owe her my life and will never forget it. Thanks again, I honestly Love you Naomi.”

  • "At 36, I’d tried many therapies for trauma and emotional healing — from talk therapy to EMDR and Somatic Therapy. Each helped in different ways, but in 2023 I knew I needed something more. I found Naomi after weeks of searching, and instantly felt her warmth and gentle presence over the phone. In our first session, she held space for me with authenticity and introduced me to Internal Family Systems — a method that felt like the missing piece. Her trauma-informed, holistic approach has helped me deeply connect with myself. I’ll continue working with Naomi as new parts arise. She’s truly one of a kind.”

  • “Working with Naomi has truly been life changing. I had been apprehensive about therapy, finding it difficult to open up and be vulnerable, but from our very first session she created a safe and deeply caring space. A space that allowed me to share very personal things I had never spoken about before. Throughout our work together, Naomi showed me different ways to explore things, helping me find what worked best for me. Our sessions were built on trust and safety, which led me to the validation I needed to work through previous experiences. Naomi has given me tools that I continue to use in my everyday life and beyond our sessions. I’m forever grateful for her and the space she creates and wish everyone could experience working with Naomi!” Portia
